The Vintage Showroom is the brainchild of Roy Luckett and Douglas Gunn. The company formed in 2007 to house an ever growing archive of vintage showroom and accessories collected by the co-founders. The Vintage Showroom has become one of the leading resources for vintage menswear globally with an extensive, curated archive which continues to develop and grow. In September 2012 a selection of the archive was published in the title ‘Vintage Menswear – A Collection From The Vintage Showroom’ for Laurence King publishing and “The Vintage Showroom – An Archive of Menswear” followed in December 2015. Both titles along with other publications from the company are available to buy here.
The business is divided into three parts – an appointment only showroom situated near West London’s Portobello Dock area which houses the Companies main Archive, a retail store located on Earlham Street which has quietly integrated itself into Seven Dials, proudly occupying the former ironmongery F.W. Collins & Sons, and a consultancy service which works with a number of Premium Brands around the World.
The showroom archive is available by appointment only, and serves to inspire design teams and stylists from Film and Fashion. The collection is available to purchase or hire and the studio offers a number of bespoke services to clients for creative and concept consultation.

The Vintage Showroom opened the doors to our first stand alone retail store in May 2009. Located at 14 Earlham Street, Seven Dials an area and shop both rich in history that we felt was perfect for our first shop front. Formerly FW Collins & Sons Ironmongers, a much loved London institution since 1835. F.W.Collins is now the name of our in-house clothing line.
