Pattern Recognition

Pattern Recognition

Pattern Recognition is an exploration of fabric, pattern, print and design through a curated capsule collection launching in Selfridges London. Analysing rare and original antique items of pre-worn and deadstock clothing, interwoven with re-designed military and utility pieces from the Archive. Restored, repurposed and reimagined by The Vintage Showroom.

Introducing photographer, poet and artist Jun Fujita. Fujita was an Issei, a term used by Japanese Americans referring to the first generation to migrate from Japan. Born on December 13, 1888 in Hiroshima prefecture, he migrated to Canada as a teenager, before finally settling in Chicago in 1909.

Today is the first day of this season’s edition of Kingpins Show in Amsterdam. We are there presenting the latest module from our Orta x Blackhorse Lane x The Vintage Showroom collaboration.
